L&E Global Expands to Switzerland

Brussels – L&E Global is pleased to announce that Zurich-based Schmid Heinzen Humbert Lerch (SHHL) is now a member of its international integrated alliance of employment law firms. L&E Global specializes in providing counsel to employers on employment, labor, workplace privacy, employee benefits and immigration law.

With a seasoned team of specialized attorneys experienced in a wide range of employment related issues, Schmid Heinzen Humbert Lerch is consistently recognized in the Swiss market and internationally for its expertise in employment law and dispute resolution.

Schmid Heinzen Humbert Lerch will join fifteen leading employment law firms throughout Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region that have formed L&E Global to provide attentive, efficient, and cost-effective legal counsel to clients operating in what has increasingly become a multi-jurisdictional legal arena. Launched in January 2011 with six members, L&E Global quickly grew in size to become the premier alliance of employment and labour “boutique” law firms. L&E Global is now comprised of member firms from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Switzerland and the United States, with more than 1,200 employment attorneys worldwide.

Stephan Swinkels, Executive Director of L&E Global, said that, “with SHHL on board we are honoring our commitment to offer clients advice from the very best employment law boutiques throughout the world. SHHL is a perfect example of a boutique firm that is quickly establishing itself as a go-to player in Switzerland. The team is extremely talented and has extensive experience in all workplace law matters. SHHL will compliment the alliance and its clients in the way L&E Global combines specialised national labor and employment law advice seemlessly across border.”

André Lerch, partner at SHHL, said that, “as a young and ambitious firm, we are very excited about the prospect of joining L&E Global in order to expand our reach in the international market and contribute to the increasingly important work of cross-border legal counsel. Considering how important the Swiss market is to the global economy, we anticipate a very active and integral role in the alliance on behalf of our international clients.”

With the addition of a Swiss based law firm into the alliance, L&E Global has solidified its presence in some of the most important economic regions in the world.
