This training session, organized by Harmers, will consider the role of a proper investigation in preventing successful claims for unfair dismissal or a breach of the general protections provisions of the Fair Work Act. It will also address the role of an appropriate investigation in circumstances of an allegation of inappropriate workplace behaviour.
IT will cover the challenging issues that may arise as a result of ineffective or mishandled performance management, inappropriate behaviour or misconduct in the workplace – outlining potential sensitive issues which may give rise to legal liability.
